As part of Penn Community Bank’s ongoing effort to better serve our customers and community, we are excited to announce the launch of a new website in early 2020.

The new will provide improved functionality, more resources, and a better user experience whether you visit from a desktop, tablet or smart phone. While the look and feel of the site will change, the web address will remain unchanged and you will have the same access to online banking with no changes to your account credentials.

Why is Penn Community Bank developing a new website? As part of our ongoing effort to serve our customers and community, Penn Community Bank is investing in a new website which will include improved functionality, more resources, and a better user experience. What will the new website feature? While continuing to provide customers access to the online banking platform they know, the new website will totally overhaul the look and feel of; whether you visit from a desktop, tablet or smart phone! Plus, enhanced features and capabilities to improve your digital experience.

When will the new website be live? The new will launch in January of 2020. We will be sending customers information about the project over the coming weeks leading up to the big reveal.

Will there be any downtime where the website will be inaccessible? No. The only anticipated downtime connected to this project was completed on 10/22. On “Launch Day” the new site will be accessible at

Does the change impact the URL or “Favorited” links? No. The new website will still be located at and require no new URL or updates to any browser “Favorites.”

Will this have any impact on accounts or passwords? No. Customers accessing the online banking account through the new will still experience the same online banking platform and see no impact on accounts, passwords, etc.

Will online banking or the mobile app be different? No. Customers will have access to the same highly-rated online platform and mobile app despite changes to the website.

Will the new site feature enhanced financial tools, calculators, and educational information? Yes. The new site will include thought leadership content and financial tools to help customers feel more confident about their financial situation and continue to see Penn Community Bank as a trusted financial partner.

Will customers be able to apply for new accounts online? Yes. Customers and prospective customers will have the ability to apply for many accounts and loans online. Additionally, with the addition of Salesforce in January 2020, we will be better able to utilize this information in marketing, follow-up and product development.

What will the new site look like? The new will feature the bank’s new, re-energized brand (also being unveiled in January 2020). The website will be clean, functional, and easy to navigate, while giving customers and prospective customers access to tools, product information, and details about the bank’s unique story.
