BUCKS COUNTY, PA – Penn Community Bank, the largest independent mutual bank in Eastern Pennsylvania, is proud to announce that Bernard Tynes, Executive Vice President and Chief Consumer Banking Officer, is stepping out of the boardroom and onto the ballroom floor as a featured dancer in Dancing for Bucks, one of the region’s largest and most impactful charitable fundraising events. The event supports the Ann Silverman Clinic, a vital community resource that has provided free medical, dental, and social services to low-income, uninsured families in the region for more than 25 years. The Ann Silverman Clinic delivers care through a dedicated team of full- and part-time staff, alongside more than 280 volunteer physicians, dentists, nurses, nurse practitioners, counselors, translators, and clerical professionals who generously donate their time to serve those most in need.
Bernard Tynes is one of the youngest top executives in the Greater Philadelphia region and an award-winning corporate marketing and banking leader. In his role at Penn Community Bank, Tynes oversees the Retail Banking, Small Business and Marketing divisions and serves as Executive Director of the Penn Community Bank Foundation, where he helps deploy resources back into the communities the bank serves.
“Community involvement is not a side effort for us—it’s who we are,” said Tynes. “Supporting the Ann Silverman Clinic aligns perfectly with our mission to serve and uplift our neighbors, and I’m honored to participate in an event that brings visibility and resources to such important work.”
Jeane Vidoni, President and CEO of Penn Community Bank and an inaugural dancer in the Dancing for Bucks program, added, “Bernard is continuing our bank’s long-standing legacy of grassroots community engagement. I was proud to be part of this event in its early days, and I’m equally proud to pass the torch to Bernard as he represents our organization and our commitment to service.”
